Donna Shanor, LCSW-S, LCDC
Director, Clinical Social Work and Integrated Behavioral Health @Dell Medical School, Department of Health Social Work
Donna Shanor is the director of clinical social work in the Department of Health Social Work. In her role, she supervises the UT Health Austin social workers in the clinical areas and coordinates integration of social workers within their respective clinical settings. Shanor received her Bachelor of Arts in social work from the University of Oklahoma and completed her Master of Science in social work with a clinical concentration at The University of Texas at Austin Steve Hicks of Social Work. She is a board-approved clinical supervisor. Shanor has experience integrating mental health care into health care settings to treat the whole patient, helping them achieve their desired goals and outcomes. She has experience providing individual, couple, family and group counseling including crisis intervention. She is a university field affiliate for the Steve Hicks School of Social Work and a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
Kathleen Carberry, RN, MPH
Outcomes Program Office @Value Institute for Health and Care
Kathleen Carberry is the Outcomes Program Officer for the Value Institute for Health and Care and Assistant Professor in the Department of Medical Education where she leads research, education, and clinical work in outcomes measurement and analysis. Carberry comes to Dell Medical School from Texas Children’s Hospital where she was the creator and director of the Texas Children’s Hospital Outcomes & Impact Service (TCHOIS),which is dedicated to helping patients, families, and providers make better health care decisions using outcomes information.She was also an assistant professor in the Michael E. DeBakey Department of Surgery, Division of Congenital Heart Surgery, at the Baylor College of Medicine.
